Angela Halpin Photography

I am a self-taught Dublin-based photographer and digital artist. Since I was very young, I've been passionate about photography.

I've always had an eye for a good image, and strongly believe that the language of photography is a unique one. As a photographer, I focus on specific areas of interest - such as portraiture, fine art, entertainers and music, nudes, digital art, landscapes and nature.

I try to use interesting lighting techniques, and unique locations, especially when creating an image that can be used to promote a person or an idea. Since 2000 I have worked exclusively in photography, advertising, printing, and publishing.

I recently provided shots of the well known belly dancer Sam Hasthorpe for popular UK women’s magazine “More”, published in the 28th Feb 06 issue.

Comedian/Actress Sue Collins commissioned me to shoot publicity shots to advertise her character “Carmel” in her current live show, as a member of The Looney Girls.

In November 2004 A series of my colour and black & white prints were exhibited as part of the Dublin Ladyfest festival.
